Mooring buoy - Polyform MB-series

The Polyform® MB‑Series includes robust mooring buoys commonly used for mooring as well as for marking fishing gear, cables, pipelines and various surface installations.

Each buoy is manufactured from roto‑moulded polyethylene (PE) and filled with EPS polystyrene foam featuring:

• Compression strength: 5 mH₂O
• Density: 25 kg/m³

This construction provides high buoyancy, good impact resistance and long service life.

The series is available in two versions:

• MB: Short mooring rod
• MB‑L: Long mooring rod

All models are factory‑assembled and equipped with a swivel at the lower end of the rod. All metal components are hot‑dip galvanized for maximum corrosion resistance. The upper part of the rod and the top grip handle are coated with dark blue plastic for improved handling and protection.

Important Notes:

• Only the underwater swivel should be used for mooring or attachment.
• The top grip handle is for handling only.
• All mooring equipment must be inspected for wear at least twice per year.
