The Burnshield fire blanket made of cotton is impregnated with a water-based fire gel that contains 96% water, which cools, moistens, and protects the burn injury. The gel has a soothing effect while also helping to prevent the burn from penetrating deeper into the skin layers. The fire blanket is sterilely packed to reduce the risk of infections. Burnshield fire blankets in cotton are used to cover large and extensive burn injuries. A carrying case is included.
