The Devold Shield Sock is a robust and comfortable work sock designed for demanding environments where protection against heat and flame is essential. Its thick construction provides excellent insulation, durability and all-day comfort, while ensuring a secure fit during long work shifts.
The fabric blend combines LENZING™ FR, Merino wool, polyamide, elastane and Nega-Stat. Merino wool delivers natural temperature regulation and moisture management, LENZING™ FR provides flame-resistant properties, polyamide enhances durability, elastane ensures a close fit, and Nega-Stat contributes antistatic protection.
Although socks cannot be certified according to EN ISO 11612, the Shield Sock has been tested against the standard's requirements with excellent results. Testing confirms a high level of protection against flames, convective heat, radiant heat and molten aluminium splash, making it an ideal choice for heat-exposed working environments.
