The Devold Anti Flame Sock is a durable and comfortable work sock developed to provide basic protection against heat and flame exposure. The sock is knitted from a premium blend of Merino wool and flame-resistant viscose (FR), with added polyamide for durability and elastane for flexibility and fit.
Merino wool provides natural temperature regulation and effective moisture management, helping to keep feet dry and comfortable during long working hours. The flame-resistant material helps prevent the fabric from continuing to burn after brief flame exposure.
Designed for workplaces where short-term exposure to heat and flames may occur, the sock withstands some convective heat and provides limited protection against radiant heat. While socks cannot be certified, the Anti Flame Sock has been tested against the requirements of EN ISO 11612.
