Applications
WHITE VASELINE is recommended for lubrication or as a component in industries related to food, pharmaceuticals, or cosmetics where a high-purity product is specified. The product is also suitable for impregnating paper insulation in electrical cables and as an external vibration-damping filler in optical fiber cables. WHITE VASELINE also works extremely well for lubricating plastic and rubber materials.
Properties and Benefits
WHITE VASELINE is refined after distillation to achieve very high purity and, as a result, is classified as pharmacopoeia-grade. The product is tasteless and odorless and has minimal impact on plastics and elastomers. WHITE VASELINE is acid-free and therefore compatible with seals, metals, and O-rings.
Handling and Storage
- Avoid skin contact.
- Wash with soap and water in case of skin contact.
- Used lubricant should be delivered to a recycling facility or equivalent.
