Iron powder low hydrogen electrode designed for highly efficient welding of mild steel and high tensile strength steel up to approximately 490 MPa.
The electrode coating contains a significant amount of iron powder, providing high deposition rates and improved productivity. It delivers a stable arc, good penetration, and welds with excellent mechanical properties.
With its low hydrogen content (H4R classification), it reduces the risk of cracking, making it suitable for critical and load-bearing structures. The electrode can be used with both AC and DC+ current and performs well in various welding positions.
- Classification: E7018 / E7018-1 H4R
- Low hydrogen content (<4 ml/100 g)
- Suitable for mild and high tensile steels (up to ~490 MPa)
- High deposition efficiency (iron powder coating)
- Stable arc and high weld quality
- Suitable for AC and DC+
