The HellermannTyton LK5 cable tie is manufactured from impact‑modified polyamide 6.6 (PA66HIR(S)), providing strength and stability in demanding environments. Internal serrations ensure a firm hold around cables, wires, tubes, and hoses. The locking head is engineered for high tensile strength while still allowing easy tightening, and the curved tail simplifies insertion into the locking mechanism.
This black version is UV‑stabilised according to ASTM D6779, making it suitable for outdoor use. Positioned as a mid‑size option in the LK series, it supports a wide range of applications. The cable tie is halogen‑free and operates within temperatures from –40 °C to +80 °C.
