Anti-corrosion - Ferro-Bet Rust Remover

Ferro-Bet Rust Remover is a professional-grade rust treatment designed for heavily corroded steel surfaces. The formula penetrates deep into pores and corrosion layers to remove rust that may remain after conventional mechanical cleaning.

During treatment, active rust is converted into passive iron phosphate (magnetite), reducing the risk of continued corrosion. The high zinc content provides additional protection by leaving behind a protective layer that helps preserve the treated metal surface.

The product is ideal as a pre-treatment before painting, priming or coating and is also suitable as a post-treatment after sandblasting. It can be applied directly to surfaces, used during wet sanding or as an immersion bath for rusted components.

Working Time by Rust Severity

• Grade 1 (pitting rust): 15–45 minutes
• Grade 2 (scale rust): 1–2 applications within 1 hour, wet sanding if required
• Grade 3 (severe corrosion): 2–3 applications within 1 hour combined with wet sanding
