LOCTITE® SF 7649 is a solvent-based activator formulated to increase the cure speed of LOCTITE® anaerobic adhesives and sealants. It is particularly suitable for use on passive metals and inactive surfaces, as well as for applications involving large bond gaps.
It also enables reliable curing at low temperatures (below 15°C / 60°F), where standard curing may be slow. The activator is applied to the surface prior to the adhesive, ensuring optimal bonding performance and process efficiency.
LOCTITE® SF 7649 is widely used across industrial applications, including threadlocking, thread sealing, gasketing, and retaining.
