Activator - LOCTITE® 7457

LOCTITE® SF 7457 is a transparent, colourless-to-slightly amber, amine-based activator used to increase the cure speed of LOCTITE® cyanoacrylate adhesives. It offers flexible application as it can be applied both before and after the adhesive.

When post-applied, it ensures extremely rapid fixturing, making it ideal for applications requiring fast processing times. The product is also recommended for use on plastics that are prone to stress cracking.

When used as a pre-applied activator, it can be detected via fluorescence, allowing for enhanced quality control in automated production environments.

Typical applications include securing wires or coils to PCBs, tamper-proofing adjustable components, and mounting stand-offs, edge guides, and board stiffeners.
