The CR Socket GN SO4 is made from cast steel with a painted or galvanized finish for superior corrosion protection. Certified with a Certificate of Conformity and 3.1 material certificate according to EN 10204. It offers a safety factor of 5 times and operates in temperatures from -40 °C to +200 °C (Polar Rated).
CR sockets are used to attach steel wire ropes in lifting and anchoring systems, including anchor cables for oil platforms, towing cables, and construction purposes such as bridges and roofs. When properly assembled, they meet at least the breaking strength of the wire rope.
