The MSA S-CAP Air Fire Escape Hood is specifically designed to protect occupants exposed to smoke and toxic gases generated by fire. It is suitable for use in hotels, ships, hospitals, office buildings, public facilities, and travel environments where emergency escape protection may be required.

The integrated multi-purpose filter protects against carbon monoxide (CO), fire smoke, particulate contaminants, hydrogen chloride, hydrogen cyanide, acrolein, and sulfur dioxide. The P2 particulate filter provides efficient filtration of smoke particles and aerosols. 

The hood features a highly visible design, a wide field-of-view visor, and a universal adult size that fits a broad range of users, including those wearing eyeglasses. Quick donning and minimal training requirements make it suitable for emergency situations where every second matters.
