The Sundström SR 299-2 ABEK1-Hg-P3 R is a combination filter consisting of a Class 1 gas filter and a Class 3 particulate filter. Designed for use with Sundström respiratory protection systems, it provides reliable protection against multiple hazardous contaminants.
Protection against:
- Organic gases and vapours with boiling points above +65°C (A).
- Inorganic gases and vapours such as chlorine, hydrogen sulphide, and hydrogen cyanide (B).
- Acid gases and vapours such as sulphur dioxide and hydrogen fluoride (E).
- Ammonia and certain amines (K).
- Mercury vapour (Hg).
- All types of airborne particulate contaminants through P3 filtration.
The filter achieves particulate filtration efficiencies exceeding 99.997% for both paraffin oil and sodium chloride aerosols. The mercury protection section has a maximum service life of 50 hours. The reusable R classification allows use over multiple work shifts when used according to applicable guidelines.
